Meyrem Bulucek is a 19 year old photographer from Bucharest, Romania. She is currently studying to get her BFA in film and photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Meyrem’s work is absolutely stunning and inspirational. Meyrem is always experimenting with new techniques and is not afraid to think outside the box. Her work seems almost seems surreal, yet it conveys real, deep emotions all throughout. Meyrem’s use of color is absolutely phenomenal. Meyrem’s work is award winning and has even been featured on websites like Italian Vogue. Prepared to be inspired to look at the world through new eyes. View more of Meyem’s work on her flickr.

spruced up summer lemonade by calli for CREATE LIKE CRAZY
Lemonade
2 cup granulated sugar
2 cup water
1 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice, about 6 lemons
4 cup water, cold

  1. bring 2 cups water to a boil and turn off heat
  2. stir in 2 cups sugar until dissolved, this is called a simple syrup (you can use simple syrup to sweeten ice tea or iced coffee, just store in a jar in your fridge)
  3. after the sugar has completely dissolved pour in the 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice and pour into your serving pitcher
  4. add 4 cups of cold water into the pitcher and give a quick stir
  5. serve over ice and enjoy on a warm day!

I am a lemonade lover for sure and I do enjoy my cup of ice cold classic lemonade but even that can be a bit boring sometimes! Here a few ways to spruce up that good ol fashioned glass of sunshine.

Place a small handful of any fruit of your liking and mash it against the side of the glass with a fork until soft. You can pour yourself half a glass of black tea with a little of honey and pour lemonade on top of it and have an Arnold Palmer, which are my personal favorite. You can add some chopped mint to any of these variations for a cool twist. Happy Summer Drinking!

CLC design studio / jennifer blair photography

It’s about time I share some recent design work with you guys, huh?

This was my first official project since I started CLC and began working under the name CREATE LIKE CRAZY design studio! Just a little back story, because I think it’s awesome to look back and see how amazing God is in the way He works. One night I was doing my normal thing, searching for new talent and soaking up inspiration, when I ended up on Jennifer Blair’s blog. We used to attend the same church as kids and she knew my husband, Chris, so I’d seen her work floating around Facebook but I’d never had the chance to really check out her work. Guys, I don’t even know how long I spent on her blog. I was so impressed by her talent and I just couldn’t get enough! Beyond that, her love for Christ was so evident.

No joke, THE NEXT DAY she emailed me and said she somehow stumbled across my blog and asked about branding and web design. I hadn’t left a comment on her blog or anything! I mean seriously, how cool is that?

Today Jenn launched her new branding, website, and blog design! She’s also giving away a few goodies, so make sure you enter the giveaway when you check out her blog!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to meet Jenn and collaborate with her! I’m sure this will not be the last time. Don’t you love it when clients become friends!? It’s one of the many things I love about my job.
