Hey Jordan, I am loving this site. Just checked it out this morning. Always great seeing you in church and I really look forward to getting to know you better! So here are a few things about me… I grew up in Lakeland, Florida, I am a preachers kid and later became a preachers wife, I have 5 kids – 3 boys and 2 girls, I love to journal and read, I also do not like to write on the first page of a new journal, I run but I don’t love it, I am training for a triathlon (good to try new things as you age!), I love being with people but I also love the quiet, a favorite thing is to watch the sunset with my husband, and I love being outdoors!

Hi, I’m Amber King, friend of Sarah & Court! The following list is completely random, and should be no reflection of them…haha.
1. I love travelling. No matter where, no matter when.
2. Good style is my caffeine. I love shopping even if it’s just for inspiration. At the end of the day, this college girl needs food over clothes.
3. I love to eat. 3 meals are not enough for one day ;)
4. I don’t know what I want to do with my life after college.
5. I own every Saved by the Bell and Full House episode on DVD. I just can’t let them go…ha.
6. My 2003 Honda Accord and I have a bond like no other. Needless to say, when she ever dies on me I plan to replace her with an identical twin, only a few years newer.
7. I abhor gyms. Why do I want someone watching me make a fool of myself with the 10 lb. dumbbells?!?
8. It naturally follows that I fear the day in which my metabolism slows down. I don’t ever want to HAVE to go to the gym.
9. I’ve used the same brand toothpaste since I was a child. I’m too stubborn to try something new.
10. I married the biggest nerd I’ve ever met. Admittedly, I ‘smile and nod’ at half of what he tells me just so I can avoid looking like a fool.

2. My closet is decorated just like my bedroom, including pictures on the wall.
3. I LOVE to read.
4. Promised my mom that I would learn to play french horn before Christmas this year.
5. I organize my computer files to a fault. If it’s not in a folder, it doesn’t belong.
6. If I’m stressed out about something, I either play the piano or go running. Normally the

Well, I couldn’t miss out on this fun so considering its 1am and I’ve found myself on the blog again!…figured I’d post! :)
1. I feel like an adult & kid all at once by owning a gum ball machine. Ha!
2. I used to tell everyone I was adopted just to watch my mom try to convince me otherwise. (Considering I had white hair and green eyes I looked nothing like my family so it was rather believable.)
3. The Easter bunny was one of my greatest fears as a child. A creepy, tall, fluffy bunny, with a mans voice, in the grocery store trying to give me candy?! Who was kidding who when deciding to entertain children like that?!
4. I almost always have energy, that is until I sit still and stop talking for about 5 minutes…then I’m out cold!
5. I am most inspired and productive at 2am
6. I want a manual Mini Cooper :)
7. I have a travel journal and love filling it. AND getting a new stamp in my passport always makes for an amazing day!
8. I love freshly sharpened pencils, typewriters and handwritten letters.
9. Ive decided its a goal to become a photographer for the olympics since I never pursued any other way of reaching the olympics.
10.I eat dove chocolates just to read the quote or buy chinese food just for the laugh of the fortune cookie!

Things About Me:
~My friends love when I visit because I end up straightening and often rearranging their spaces while we talk :)
~I have 2 dogs, 2 foster dogs, and a cat ( KIND of an animal lover)!
~I paint, craft like crazy, reclaim furniture, love to cook and design spaces but I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler!
~I am in an all male fantasy football league and immensely enjoy beating them since I really have NO idea what I’m doing.
~When I read, I always finish the book the same day, not because I’m a huge scholar but because once I start I CAN’T stop.
~I live in a war zone (also known as a house in the middle of being renovated)
~If I get bad service at a restaurant I tip well anyway, but I also right the server a note of what I wasn’t happy about and sign it with a fake secret shopper number just so they will hopefully treat the next table better out of paranoia.

Here goes with my 10 –
1- I love old movies, like Bringing Up Baby. I just watched The Grass is Greener tonight and it was just as great as all the other Cary Grant films I’ve seen before.
2- I fall asleep in my clothing…a lot. Even workout clothes. Laziness, perhaps?
3- I love looking at fashion trends almost as much as interior design stuff.
4- I call heels “big girl shoes” because it took me way too long to start wearing them.
5- My nephew is SO cute that I often wonder if my own child (children) will be as cute;)
6- I have to work on my tardiness daily. Daily. I’m even answering this a day later…
7- If I had all the money in the world and had to spend some of it on something frivolous it would be to have a personal driver. This would be less for me and more for the safety of others and would probably help with #6
8- My latest obsession is the show Bunheads. For the reader that said she loves Gilmore Girls, this is by the writer for that show and it satisfies that deep inner yearning I had to see GG go for another season.
9- I currently have three journals and write in all of them fairly regularly.
10- I feel the need to start buying/making Christmas presents now and summer isn’t over yet…

Ok. I’m doing this two days late…which explains my number one:
1. I’m always “on time” – which is technically late.
2. I was naturally born with bright red curly hair and now have natural flat-as-a-board blonde hair.
3. I was voted “Most Unique” in high school…so I’m pretty atypical altogether. Not sure if this is a compliment or not.
4. I was Class President in high school and now have to plan our high school reunions.
5. I love Kinos – Key West’s finest.
6. My mom didn’t let me shave my legs until I was in 7th grade! Awhile after puberty hit…
7. The first thing I learned on the guitar was Jimi Hendrix’ “Purple Haze” and the second was “Voodoo Child.”
8. I was on the Varsity Volleyball team for three years in high school and I absolutely love sports.
9. I got to sit front row on the David Letterman show for my husband and I’s one year anniversary (this past June)!
10. I type with two fingers – my middle right finger and my left pointer. But man am I fast anyways!

So, I’m late to the party but I’m joining in, anyway. :)
1) I like to read but yet I always find myself with so many unread books …and in my kindle.
2) I like candles. Mostly tropical scents because I wish I were on a tropical island but I also love the yummy cupcake/vanilla smells.
3) In my painting class in college, I didn’t really apply myself too much but now I love it. I guess it’s because I like to paint when the inspiration strikes me. :)
4) I need to cut back on nail polish. Seriously, I have a whole RACK of it. I like to express myself with my nails. yay!
5) I hate coffee. I worked at Dunkin Donuts for 5 years. Yeah, I don’t know. I like tea, though. Especially green tea; no sugar or milk.
6) I’ve known my best friend for 16/17 years. Yeah, it’s safe to say we know each other really. haha. sistahs from anotha mistah.
7) If I hear someone I know/love being a ‘debbie downer’, I will go all positive on that person.
8) I love to create pretty much in any media. Computer design, knitting, painting, pencil, [drawing] pens, etc.
9) One of my dreams is to get my art seen around everywhere.
10) I love Disney World. I want to go to Disney World again. I might be a bit obsessed.

Wow, I’m SUPER late to the party! But here goes!
1. I don’t have a sense of smell.
[NOBODY remembers and ask me the smell EVERYTHING!]
2. I want to pet EVERY single doggy in NYC.
3. I love coffee shops, but not coffee. Tea please. :)
4. I’ve only been drawing for a few years, but i know it’s what i was MADE to do. I draw whimsical, encouraging “doodles” mostly.
5. If you bring me a lotus seed pancake, I’ll be your best friend forever!
6. I’m one of the few people who think rodents are ADORABLE!
7. I started making jewelry when i was 9; by cutting the pull chains off my mom’s fans.
8. I name just about EVERYTHING; Cars, computers, anything that looks like it could be a face.
9. When the boy gets home from work sometimes we dance like a crazy people. It’s seriously one of my FAVORITE things to do in the whole world.
10. I’ve always hated my curly hair, and although it’s often annoying me, it suits my personality more than straight hair ever would. [well... maybe not pink straight hair with bangs... but hey! oh well] :)
