better than free candy
My neighbors decorate for every possible holiday. And let me tell you.. they go all out. I have to admit, I’m not that dedicated. This year, I decided to keep it simple and design a few halloween + share them with you, of course! ( there’s also a desktop background at the bottom of this post along with the print downloads! ) Whether you like to cover your yard with cobwebs or not.. you’ll enjoy this easy halloween decor project. The best part? Its super cheap!
Here is a list of the materials I used. Using items I already had and finding the rest at the dollar store.. I spent less than $5 on this project!
- halloween prints ( download them at the bottom of this post )
- cardstock ( craft supply store )
- washi tape
- spiders ( dollar store )
- plastic skull ( dollar store )
- spray adhesive ( craft supply store )
- glitter ( dollar store )
To add more interest to my “halloween wall” I grabbed a few spiders and a skull from the dollar store and then covered the skull with glitter. Spray adhesive made the process super fast and easy! ( i also flattened the back of the skull a bit to make it rest on the wall better )
I highly recommend washi tape for hanging prints on the wall. Especially if you’re like me and you change your mind often and like to move things around! And of course.. it’s just so pretty!

To make the process easier, lay all of your elements on the ground and figure out the best arrangement before you put them on the wall. I made a few ( okay a lot.. hehe ) of changes after hanging it but it still saved a lot of time!
One more little freebie for you: a new desktop wallpaper. ( thanks for all of the kind words about the last one! i’m so glad you enjoyed it! )
If the dots are too much, don’t worry! There is also a download with text only.
