I’m always looking for creative ways to do things without breaking the bank. This is true in many areas of life, but today we’re talking home decor! Taylor and I have come up with a few fun diy decorating ideas for fall that will leave you with some extra cash.. maybe for a pumpkin spice latte? ;)
For this first project.. we used wheat and beads to create a festival center piece!
We learned the key to this was to not go over board. Using just a few elements actually made it more interesting to look at than overloading it!
For the next piece we used the remaining wheat from the bundle, neon cord or string ( from home depot.. or lowes? haha ), glue, and gold ribbon with glitter. We ( and by we I mean Taylor as I cheered her on ) simply wrapped the wheat with the neon string tightly, secured it, and then glued on the strip of ribbon.
This baby is living on my coffee table right now. It’s going to be hard to put her up! Even to make space for Christmas decor! haha :)
