featured / style me pretty
You guys, I still don’t feel like this is real! We were featured on Style Me Pretty in a rooftop photo shoot by Jennifer Blair yesterday! If you follow me on instagram, you probably saw a few images from the shoot a couple of weeks ago and a behind the scenes look at the stationary design. Well, the secret is out and you can now see all of the beautiful images that Jenn took! I’m so thankful for the chance to work with her and the other talented people involved.
It is a total dream to be featured on SMP. I was literally on that site everyday of our engagement! It’s still my favorite wedding inspiration site, by far.
I had so much fun designing the stationary to fit the vibe of this shoot. Anything with craft paper, hand drawn type and string lights has to be good, right!?
These are my absolute favorite shots. Jennifer continues to amaze me with her talent for capturing love!
I have to admit, I kind of felt like I was reliving some of my favorite parts of my wedding! ( without the nerves, haha! ) The planning, designing, getting all dressed up – so much fun. Even the pouring rain stopping just in time was just like our wedding day. It seems that God likes to remind us who’s in control, huh? ;) I know I need that reminder! ( make sure you read the story of how God worked on the day of the shoot on Jenn’s blog! )
Side note to my mister: thanks for being such a trooper + supporting me and my friends crazy creative endeavors! You rock ;)

Awe, thank you so much Elena! And if she ever goes to London I might just have to hide in her suitcase. I didn’t realize you lived there!! Chris and I were there for a day on our way back from our honeymoon and LOVED it.

These photographs are completely incredible! And that dress! It’s like pink champagne. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I think the movies have created this unending need for rooftop parties in my life. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (hah!), Julie and Julia, and more. Love it!
Didn’t Jenn do an AMAZING job!? And yes, rooftop parties seem to always be a win.
