Did you guys catch a look at Reese Witherspoon’s oh-so-delightful country home in the latest issue of Elle Decor? I did, and what I loved the most about it (other than the fact that she has a menagerie of animals there) was the fact that the look of her home is one that would be somewhat easy for those of us with ahem… less means…to replicate. I took the image of her entry and used it as inspiration for an eclectic entryway.

So here are my suggestions for your home entry:

What I noticed most about her home was the fact that very little matched, but every item was so special that they all fit together. So, take a chance when shopping for items for your home. Buy something used. Grab that chair you found on the side of the road, and have it recovered. It may take you a bit longer than you’d like to have the sort of curated, comfortable look that Reese’s home has, but I assure you that good things are worth waiting for!
