lessons in inspiration / 06
In teacher world we live, eat, and breathe questions. If I’m not asking a question, I’m answering a question, or discussing a question or formulating a question. But one of the most important set of questions are those asked by students, not to students.
The same is true for all of us. Asking questions guides us to new ideas, gives us a fresh perspective, and challenges our thinking. Friends, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Question everything with no restraint!
Your assignment: ask questions. Ask questions of yourself and of the world. Ask friends for advice. Ask yourself what you’re really passionate about. Ask someone to be your mentor. Ask that hard question that you’ve been avoiding.
At the end of the day, the questions we ask of ourselves determine the type of people that we will become.
