make a birthday crown
I made this crown for my mom for her birthday but hey, I’m not stopping you from making one for yourself! ;) You’ll need card stock, scissors or exacto knife, a whole punch, string or twine, and whatever extra decoration you come up with! I used glitter paper (michael’s) and a paper flower (target – with the gift wrap).
Print onto card stock and cut out the crown. I used craft card stock with the navy crown, but you could use white or any other color you want! There is also a multicolor option you can check out. (downloads at the end of the post)
I then cut out a strip of glitter paper along the curve of the crown. Isn’t that stuff AWESOME!? I’ve been looking for excuses to use it! I also added a little color and dimension with colored pencils.
Then I glued on the glitter paper, attached the flower, punched holes, tied on string and got ready to PARTY!
Get creative with this and make sure you comment with your finished products! :)
